WHY VOLUNTEER
Labor of Love is not just for people that are skilled with their hands and tools. We have a place for people with all sorts of talents including compassionate care, communications, public relations, fundraising, coordination and hospitality.
Becoming a Labor of Love volunteer is a very rewarding experience. Many volunteers tell us that they get a deep sense of satisfaction knowing that they are helping other people and doing the work that God has asked of us. We have been told by many of our volunteers that they have feel that they have recieved more than they have given by serving others through the Labor of Love programs.
Please prayerfully consider if you can use some of your time and talents to help others repair their homes and restore thier faith.
HOW TO VOLUNTEER
Adult volunteers may register in two convenient methods. The staff of Labor of Love would greatly prefer if you could click the link below and complete our Online Registration Form. This is the fastest and easiest way to register and you'll be put in the communication loop more quickly in this manner.

YOUTH VOLUNTEERS
Labor of Love programs are open to all volunteers 12 years old and older. All volunteers must sign a Registration and Release Form Volunteers that are under 18 years of age must also have a parent or guardian sign the Registration and Release Form and a Parental Consent Agreement. Because we must verify the parent's or guardian's signature, youth registration cannot be accepted online. We have created a combined Youth Registration and Parental Constent Form, which you may download, print, complete and return to Labor of Love or your youth project leader.
Youth are permitted to particpate in the Rake and Run or hospitality programs as part of a group supervised by an adult. Youth are permited to participate in Home Repair or Clean Team projects only if they are constantly supervised by their parent or guardian. Additionally, youth may not work on ladders, utilize power tools, or undertake high risk activities.

VOLUNTEER AS A GROUP
Labor of Love offers a great opportunity for groups to get involved in a project together. We currently partner with entire churches, church small groups, civic organizations, Boy Scout Troops, sporting teams and businesses. These groups help staff a larger project or adopt their own project or projects.
Labor of Love provides the systems, the management and the leadership so that your group can participate, but not have to take on all of the responsibilities of organizing, fundrainsing and managing a program.
We ask that groups that get involved have a contact person that will be responsible for communicating with their group members. We ask that the group consider providing someone as a House Captiain for a project and that the group distribute information that will help publicize and raise funds for their project.
If you would like to know more about getting your group involved, please click on the link below to download an information sheet, and feel free to contact Suzanne Biddix at 810-227-5099.
