Hello All,
  As I write this my heart (and eyes) today are very heavy and sad as I lost a VERY dear friend of mine, Joe and a wonderful Grandpa figure to CJ last night at around 5:30 (ten minutes before I was arriving for a visit). I feel extremely blessed to have known him and to have had such a wonderful friend and neighbor and feel a great hole today and a missing piece really. I look out the back window to see a very dark, lonely house where there was once a bright light of friendship and love. We had a movie date planned for monday evening to listen to CJ in the Cantata - that he so longed to be at. Just Sat night he sang to me on the phone wishing we could all come over and play cards but CJ was already in bed and Joe was gone working on a car so I could not leave. I told him Sunday would be busy as well - and I would see him Monday. Instead - he went with his beautiful wife Barbara in heaven. I am so thankful that he was able to come to church with us just a week ago. (A memory I will not soon forget) but also to our church's outreach ministry who made him a ramp to get into the house - it opened a door for the two of us to talk about God and our faith and even though it was only a week ago - he accepted Christ as his Savior - and requested and saw a Hospice Pastor and now is SAVED and singing in Heaven!! Please keep us and our neightborhood (many many sad kids) and his family in your prayers this week as we make arrangements to say goodbye--but see you soon - to a dear friend! Thank you.

I can't begin to thank you enough for my new ramp. I have lived here for a year now. I will now be able to go out, meet my neighbors, go to our park with my grandchildren , and even go across to our lot and see whats in our shed. It also made my heart feel good to see the two young people helping out. Every one was so nice and the ramp is great. Thanks again. God Bless all of you.
