The Labor of Love Urgent Care and Repair Ministry is designed to respond to urgent repair situations, whether it be for one homeowner or a community crisis. Repairs are undertaken throughout the year as volunteers and funds are available.

The Urgent Care and Repair Ministry focuses on life and safety issues that require immediate attention to allow people to continue living safely in a home. Examples of situations that qualify for the Urgent Repair Program are roof leaks, serious plumbing problems, modifications after a disability, storm or fire damage, etc.

To nominate a homeowner for the Urgent Repair Program, please fill out the Homeowner Referral Form on the "How to Nominate" page and submit it to us. You may also e mail WeCare@LaborOfLoveLivingston.com or call us at 810-227-5099 or 734-769-1900. Please note in the subject line of the e mail that this is an "URGENT REPAiR NEED."

We try to coordinate volunteers with the appropriate skills to address the Urgent Repair need. We are grateful to the men and women that volunteer for the Urgent Care & Repair Program. So that these volunteers do not become overburdened with repeated requests for repairs, Labor of Love maintains a policy of asking volunteers to respond to no more than one Urgent Repair in any 12 month period.
