The Labor of Love Urgent Repair Program is designed to respond quickly to urgent repair situations, whether it be for one homeowner or a community crisis.

The Urgent Repair Program focuses on life and safety issues that require immediate attention to allow people to continue living safely in a home. Examples of situations that qualify for the Urgent Repair Program are roof leaks, serious plumbing problems, modifications after a disability, storm or fire damage, etc.

To nominate a homeowner for the Urgent Repair Program, please fill out the Homeowner Referral Form on the "How to Nominate" page and submit it to us. You may also e mail or call us at 734-769-1900. Please note in the subject line of the e mail that this is an "URGENT REPAiR NEED."

We try to coordinate volunteers with the appropriate skills to address the Urgent Repair need. We are grateful to the men and women that volunteer for the Urgent Repair Program. So that these volunteers do not become overburdened with repeated requests for repairs, Labor of Love maintains a policy of asking volunteers to respond to no more than one Urgent Repair in any 12 month period.
